Why Us / Our Story
Built by Fleet People. Built for Uptime.
The Story
Traveling Wrenches was founded by someone who spent years inside fleet maintenance and transportation. And kept watching the same thing happen: good units sitting idle, not because the repair was hard, but because getting the vehicle to a shop was. The tow. The dealer queue. The backlog measured in weeks.
The fix was obvious to anyone who had lived it: stop moving vehicles to technicians and start moving technicians to vehicles. So that's what we built: a mobile service operation that brings qualified techs, OEM-level diagnostics and real repair capability directly to the customer's location.
Then dealers and manufacturers started calling. They had warranty work, recalls and field issues their own networks couldn't cover fast enough. The same model that rescued fleet downtime became field capacity for the industry. And that's how we work today: for fleets, for dealers, and for the OEMs behind them.
— Owner, Traveling Wrenches

Our Mission
To keep fleets in service by sending qualified technicians, with advanced diagnostics and full repair capability, directly to the vehicles that need them, whether that's a yard, a job site, the roadside, or the customer's own shop. No downtime lost to shop visits, dealer backlogs or hiring cycles.

Three Pillars
How We Deliver.
Service Techs Come to You
The shop visit is the bottleneck. We remove it. Qualified technicians, not just any available body, come to your yard, the job site, the roadside, or straight into your own shop to work on your vehicles there. Tools and diagnostics in hand, ready to finish the job where the vehicle sits.
On-Site / Captive Service
Skip the hire. When the work piles up, we embed qualified technicians inside your own shop. PM, inspections, repairs, on your schedule. Busy season, overflow, a sudden backlog: you get the capacity without posting a job, interviewing candidates, or carrying full-time overhead. When the surge ends, so does the cost.
Filling the Dealer and Manufacturer Service Gap
Dealers and OEMs face the same math: more warranty work, campaigns and field issues than their own techs can cover. We extend their reach with qualified field technicians who complete the work under their standards and their name.
